Ice cream & Computer

Coffee in the morning!

Ah slacking after exams!

Or rather, job hunting. Bleak!

Lunch at Fortune Center!

Organic brown rice briyani!

Soy vegetable soup!

Burrp.

The perfect dessert! Rice Dream mint & carob chip.

Pumpkins & Bananas

Lunch at The Soup Spoon again. It's fast becoming one of our favourite haunts, for the reasons below!

Delicious, rich, vegan pumpkin soup.

Asian Tofu Salad.

Mad, lemon sucking boyfriend!

Oh yes, the lemons are really good.

Me, I prefer an Ice Blended Mocha Soy Milk from Mr. Bean.

And a Banana Ball! It's some kueh made with flour and mashed bananas. It's very good!

Dropping the demure act.

"Take a nice picture with me?" "OK!" "Ewww!"

Passers-by may be inclined to thinking we're a gross couple.

But, see, we can be normal.

Picture of the day. :)

Batman Adventures

Gotham City! Batman, Scarecrow and some bald monk.

Family portraits!

While the kids were taking pictures...

Me and my new pet dog. My dog is eyeing the paper bag.

Batman is eyeing the paper bag.

That's because I've got popcorn!!! Caramel popcorn.

Decided to join my new boyfriend on stage.

You have to admit, he is really cool.

S doesn't think so though.

Batman is on till 28 Dec, I think, at Raffles City. Don't miss it!

Of Mushrooms and Collies

S's birthday is coming up in 2 days and no birthday is complete without a pig out. So here are the very delicious pictures from our dinner at Ling Zhi Vegetarian Restaurant in Far East Sq.

First of all, a reminder to all?

Waiting for the train, both of us dressed up.

Us and the coolie at Far East Sq! He gets rice, we get Tung Lok!

Finally at Ling Zhi. Here's the steamboat - Tom Yum on one side, Yam Soup on the other.

Some of the stuff we added.

Obviously quite excited.

In addition to the buffet steamboat, they have a list of 10 dishes which you can order to your hearts' content for free too. This is the vegetarian satay or should I say - kebab.

I think this is called Eight Treasure Bag - tofu stuffed with mushrooms and veg.

Monkey Head Mushroom! Tastes alarmingly like meat!

Mushroom Rolls.

Everything in.

Killer dumplings, I say.

This is when we got carried away with the mushrooms.

Dessert - red bean soup and my favourite mochi-thingy with red bean paste/sweet corn. They didn't have the banana custard though, which is the best.

Was walking around in Chinatown after dinner and I made a new friend!

Coolest dog I ever met. 7 years old, totally docile and friendly.

Finally, going home.

Great place for dinner! Great dog.
